The Bloom Organization Hits the Road to Support the Food Bank of South Jersey Summer Meals Program

7/17/17

The Bloom Organization, a leading commercial industrial real estate management firm in South Jersey, is serving up support again this summer at the Food Bank of South Jersey and its Summer Meals program. For the 2nd year in a row, its team will volunteer each week and prepare lunch for school age children while on summer break. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides breakfast and lunch or lunch and afternoon snack for kids at sites throughout the community anywhere children congregate outside of the school year.

Says K.C. Isdaner, The Bloom Organization Chief Operating Officer, “We are thrilled to be back for a second year to help with the Summer Food Service Program. It is very fulfilling for the Bloom team to help with such an important project. Over 8000 children participate in this program and would not eat properly without it.” He goes on to add, “The employees are delighted to take part again and look forward to our involvement over the next 8 weeks.”
According to the organization website, the Food Bank of South Jersey exists to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger by providing food to needy people, teaching them to eat nutritiously, and helping them to find sustainable ways to improve their lives. It is just one of the one of many community efforts The Bloom Organization is engaged in throughout the year.

The Bloom Organization was founded in 1945 and is a leader in the South Jersey office and industrial real estate market with 3.0 million square feet of office and industrial buildings in Burlington and Camden counties. As a long-standing member of the South Jersey community, The Bloom Organization actively supports many local, regional and national organizations.
