Jaime Schultz, Managing Director and a leading Brooklyn commercial retail broker at Lee & Associates NYC LLC is celebrating a year of success in the start-up of Ladies of Business Rockaway Beach, a not-for-profit networking organization she co-founded with Rachel Krieger, yoga teacher and event planner, and Riva Richmond, director of digital media at The Story Exchange, a nonprofit media organization focused on female entrepreneurs. Since 2016, more than 70 other women business owners and entrepreneurs based in the Rockaway Beach area have joined.

“Rockaway Beach is a close-knit community and women business owners have long played a prominent role here,” says Schultz. “Obviously, the time was right to organize friends and neighbors to promote each other’s work and create more business.”

In her work as a commercial real estate broker, Schultz has recently completed deals for Mekelburg’s at the Domino Sugar factory development in Williamsburg, Jackson Square, a new development in Long Island City and multiple Van Leeuwen locations throughout the city. In the Rockaway Beach area, she has 25,000 square feet of retail space for lease as well as a development site sale listing on Beach 116^th Street.
