Z Capital Group, L.L.C. a leading alternative asset manager focused on opportunistic, value-oriented private equity and credit funds, today announced the appointment of Benjamin Webster as a Managing Director in Investor Development. Mr. Webster will be based in Z Capital's Lake Forest office to support the firm's U.S. investors.
Mr. Webster joins Z Capital from BlackRock, where he most recently served as Director of the firm's Institutional Client Business. With more than a decade of experience working with global alternatives platforms at BlackRock and Fidelity Investments, Mr. Webster built strong relationships with numerous stakeholders and was essential to capital raising efforts across diverse investor bases. Previously, Mr. Webster served as Vice President in Institutional Wealth Services at Fidelity Investments, Regional Vice President over the Midwest territory at GE Financial / Genworth and Senior Consultant and Manager of the RIA business at Investmart, Inc.
