2187 Atlantic Street Ownership Taps Cushman & Wakefield to Exclusively Lease Waterfront Office Building

7/10/17

Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut, Inc. today announced that a real estate investment fund managed by Black Diamond Capital, an industry leading alternative asset management firm, has tapped the firm as the exclusive leasing agent for their 2187 Atlantic Street, a boutique office building located at the edge of Stamford’s Harbor Point development.

A Stamford-based Cushman & Wakefield team of Senior Director Jodie Dostal and Executive Managing Director Steve Baker will lead the property’s leasing and marketing efforts.

The waterfront building features an 18,000 RSF floorplate, prebuilt suites, and on-site management. It has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation including a new lobby, café, common area finishes, and renovated bathrooms. In addition to the dramatic interior renovations, an architecturally unique fin system along the building’s exterior will light the project at night and enhance the landscaping design.

Other building amenities include a shuttle to the nearby train station, a fitness center, covered parking, concierge, a renovated lobby, and a café.

“This property is perfectly situated on a beautiful waterfront setting and is surrounded by an eclectic mix of restaurants and bars in one of Stamford’s hottest neighborhoods,” Mr. Baker said. “With the prime location, features, and amenities, this is the best boutique office building on the market. We are excited for this exclusive opportunity and look forward to finding the right tenant mix for this property.”

The building is also walking distance (.4 miles) from the Stamford Train Station.
