Deutsche Bank Appoints William White as Head of US Life Sciences

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Deutsche Bank continues to bolster its Americas Corporate Finance franchise and today announced its 12th Managing Director hire in 2017 with the addition of William White as Managing Director and Head of US Life Sciences.

White has spent the past 11 years at Citigroup within the Investment Banking Division’s Global Healthcare Group. He will be based in New York and report to Ross Hammerman and Phil Pucciarelli, Co-Heads of Americas Healthcare Investment Banking.

“With nearly 17 years of Healthcare banking experience, Bill has strong relationships with specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology and major pharmaceutical companies that will significantly enhance our Life Sciences efforts and allow us to broaden our footprint in the US,” said Hammerman. “Bill will be a great source of strategic advice for clients as they look for ways to respond to changes in this dynamic and innovative industry.”

Prior to Citi, White spent six years at Goldman Sachs working in both the NY and London offices. He has a law degree from Columbia, a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard and an undergraduate degree from Princeton.
