CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AmeriHealth New Jersey today announced that AtlantiCare will be a Tier 1 provider in its AmeriHealth Advantage suite of products effective July 1, 2017. AtlantiCare is Southeastern New Jersey’s largest healthcare organization comprised of more than 900 physicians in 90 locations.

AmeriHealth New Jersey’s Advantage Portfolio includes two different types of tiered health plans, both of which provide members with lower out-of-pocket costs when they utilize Tier 1.
AmeriHealth Advantage Suite
Plans aretiered by physician and facility, and are available in seven out of 21 counties across the state: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean and Monmouth. An AmeriHealth Advantage EPO is now available to large groups in these counties.
Tier 1 Advantage Suite
Plans are tiered by hospital and are available in 20 out of 21 counties statewide. A Tier 1 Advantage EPO is now available to large groups in all NJ counties, with the exception of Hunterdon County.
