Balance Point Capital, in conjunction with one of its affiliated funds, Balance Point Capital Partners II, L.P., is pleased to announce it provided debt and an equity co-investment to Apex Learning in support of Education Growth Partners' acquisition of the Company.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Seattle, WA, Apex is a market leader in providing a SaaS-based digital curriculum for secondary education. Apex offers a rigorous, standard-based curriculum to schools and districts nationwide to meet the needs of all students from those who are struggling to those who are capable of accelerating through two product offerings, Comprehensive Courses and Adaptive Tutorials. Comprehensive Courses provide a proven option for original credit and credit recovery, and Adaptive Tutorials meet individual student needs for intervention, remediation, and high-stakes exam preparation. During the most recent school year, there were over three million enrollments in Apex Learning Comprehensive Courses and Adaptive Tutorials.
