DLA Piper is proud to announce that 46 lawyers have been promoted to its partnership. The promotions are effective as of 1 January 2017 in the United States and 1 May 2017 for EMEA and Asia Pacific. The promotions were made across many of the firm's practice areas in 28 different offices throughout 13 countries.
Across the firm's practice groups globally, Corporate saw the largest intake of new partners with 10 promotions, followed by Litigation & Regulatory with nine, Finance & Projects with seven and Employment with five. Intellectual Property & Technology, Real Estate and Tax each had four promotions, whilst there were two in Restructuring and one in Government Affairs.
In total, there were 17 promotions in the United States, nine in the United Kingdom, 12 across Continental Europe, four in the UAE, two in China, and a further two in Australia. A full list of partner promotions by office and practice is included below.
