I recently finished reading Randy Cepuch's book, "A Weekend With Warren Buffett And Other Shareholder Meeting Adventures." In this piece, Cepuch details his experience at Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A, BRK.B) annual meeting, along with 21 others like Hershey (NYSE:HSY), Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Disney (NYSE:DIS). There were many interesting tales, but his experience at the Citigroup (NYSE:C) meeting in particular caught my attention.
It was April of 2006, and the meeting was set to be a sendoff for then chairman Sanford "Sandy" Weill. However, not all shareholders were enamored - with one, in particular, logging a variety of complaints. I'd like to highlight one of those exchanges:
