Horizons at The Ethel Walker School, the nation's first all-girls Horizons program, has appointed Robinson+Cole lawyer Sandra Marin to its Board of Directors. Ms. Marin is a member of Robinson+Cole's Labor and Employment Group, where she represents businesses in claims involving discrimination, wrongful termination, noncompetition and confidentiality agreements, contracts, investigations, wage and hour, and other employment disputes.

The mission of Horizons at The Ethel Walker School is to help girls in Hartford Public Schools from low-income families improve their educational outcomes. The program provides year-round academic and swimming instruction, cultural enrichment opportunities, mentoring, and educational guidance in a nurturing community of dedicated professionals and volunteers.
