EvolveMKD was named a winner in four separate categories in Bulldog Reporter's annual Stars of PR Awards. Three of the awards recognized CEO and Founder Megan Driscoll for her achievements.
Bulldog Reporter's Stars of PR Awards recognize outstanding achievements by communications agencies and professionals. The entries are judged by working and award-winning journalists including a Pulitzer Prize winner. This year's judges come from a number of different media outlets including The Washington Post, USA Today and The Oregonian.
Evolve won Gold in the Agency category for Consumer Agency of the Year. Driscoll won two Gold awards in the Professional category for Agency Professional of the Year and PR Pro of the Year Under 40.
Driscoll was also the Grand Prize Winner in the Professional category, giving special recognition to her work in growing her young company and establishing Evolve as a premiere communications firm serving beauty, health and lifestyle. Driscoll's commitment to helping women in the community and her philanthropic work was also recognized.
"To be recognized like this by the journalists who report on and study this industry is a real honor," said Driscoll. "It's a testament to our team's hard work. We are excited and we are inspired to do even more."
When Evolve opened its doors in September 2014, the agency had four employees and three clients and was operating out of Driscoll's apartment. Thanks to its multi-talented team of expert communicators, the agency currently maintains an all-female staff of 18 serving 20 innovative brands in the health and beauty industry out of its 5,000-square-foot custom designed space in New York's Chelsea neighborhood.
