Hinckley Allen’s Corporate & Business Practice Appoints Matthew Peetz

Matthew Peetz

Hinckley Allen is pleased to welcome Matthew Peetz to the firm’s New York City office. As an associate in the Corporate & Business group, his practice will focus on corporate trust. Matt joins us from Emmet, Marvin & Martin LLP.

Matt represents and advises financial institutions acting as indenture trustee, administrative agent, collateral agent, paying agent and exchange agent, among other roles in corporate debt issuances and lending or project finance transactions. The corporate debt issuances include, but are not limited to, reinsurance trust and at-risk catastrophe bond issuances, secured and securitized debt issuances, issuances of debt convertible to equity as well as straight corporate debt issuances. Additionally, Matt has represented banks making loans and extending lines of credit to cooperative and condominium corporations.

Matt attended Pennsylvania State University for his B.S. in Global & Strategic Management, and returned to obtain his law degree. As a law student, Matt was the Editor-in-Chief of The Penn State Journal of Law & International Affairs. He was also a Research Assistant for Professor Larry Catá Backer at Penn State University, participating in projects relating to corporate social responsibility and alternative governance structures.
