Stribling and Associates, one of New York’s premier real estate brokerages, announces that Ashley Murphy has joined the company as the Director of Public Relations, a newly created management position.

Murphypossesses more than a decade of media experience, and has spent the last five years building and managing successful public profiles for some of the most recognizable real estate brands. Most recently, Ms. Murphy was the Corporate and Expansion Public Relations Lead at real estate company Compass, where she was responsible for national press launches, corporate communications, executive profiles, and luxury property press.

Before joining Compass, Murphy was an Associate Vice President at Rubenstein where she represented high-profile clients including Stribling and Associates, Extell, loandepot, The Naftali Group, Tavistock, Realtor.com, and Carmel Partners. She had previously served as Director of Public Relations at Douglas Elliman, and helped to launch that firm’s Zillow and Knight Frank press initiatives. She began her career as a news writer and producer for KYW in Philadelphia, a CBS owned and operated television station.

The daughter of a real estate broker father and former Emmy-Award winning reporter mother, Ms. Murphy has combined her parents’ roles into what she calls ‘the perfect career.’She is a graduate of Trinity College and The Lawrenceville School and currently resides in Westchester with her daughter.
