Leading audit, accounting, tax and advisory firm WeiserMazars LLP announced today that James Wienclaw has joined the firm as a Partner in its Manufacturing & Distribution Group, and will be based out of the firm's Long Island office. Jim has almost 20 years of diversified public accounting experience, with an extensive background in tax services in various industries, including Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution, Technology, and Commercial Real Estate.

"Jim's expertise and background will be a tremendous asset to our firm and clients," says Long Island Managing Partner, Craig Fine. "He will be instrumental in enhancing our tax capabilities in the Manufacturing & Distribution sector, and in the expansion of the Long Island Office."

Prior to joining WeiserMazars, Jim was a corporate tax partner at a large national firm. He was also tax lead for the Business Enterprise Tax Services Group at a large national accounting firm where he was an engagement partner, active in training and mentoring new tax hires. Further, Jim has organized and chaired NYSSCPA C-Corporations Committee Annual Tax Conferences, and has been published in several publications such as the Tax Advisor, NYSSCPA CPA Journal, and NYSSCPA Tax Stringer.

Jim graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation, and resides in Long Island, NY.
