Construction manager Mc Gowan leads complex conversion and renovation project

Mc Gowan, one of the New York Metropolitan Area’s premier construction management firms, today announced that it recently completed the construction of River & Warren, a collection of two- to five-bedroom luxury condominium residences located at 212 Warren Street, connecting the Manhattan neighborhoods of Tribeca and Battery Park City.

Developed by Five Mile Capital and Centurion Group, River & Warren is situated on the Hudson River waterfront between Rockefeller and Teardrop parks. In addition to being fully renovated and modernized, the condominium features an impressive collection of resident amenities, including a fitness center, playroom and rooftop park.

As construction manager for the complete building modernization project, the Mc Gowan team supervised the complex renovation and conversion of a 15-year-old, 27-story apartment building, transforming it into an upscale luxury residential condominium development. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, the project entailed a complete demolition of the building's interiors and common areas, including a redesign of each floors individual condominium units, and repositioning of building’s mechanical and plumbing systems to serve the newly designed condominiums.

The 162 residences at River & Warren include rooms with white oak flooring, kitchens with custom oak and marbled islands, custom floor-to-ceiling millwork cabinetry with white Italian marble countertops, and high-end appliances. Master bathrooms are finished with imported marble walls and chevron patterned floors, custom crafted vanities from Italy topped with imported stone and master baths with freestanding tubs.
