Deloitte’s 5,000 plus professionals occupy 15 floors, 530,000 square feet at 30 Rockefeller Plaza office
Deloitte marked a key milestone this week by completing its three-year, multi-phase real estate project for its New York City offices, which serve as headquarters for the organization’s U.S. operations as well as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited’s global headquarters. The relocation brings together Deloitte’s New York-area professionals from former offices at 25, 140 and 1633 Broadway, uniting more than 5,000 professionals under one roof in a move intended to spark collaboration and improve operational efficiency.
The newly-designed space at 30 Rock features the organization’s Next Generation 2.0 design and state-of-the-art Deloitte Greenhouse™. The layout includes individual workspaces that provide areas for tranquility and deep focus, collaborative areas for enhanced teaming and places for private discussions. The Deloitte Greenhouse™ is designed for multi-use functionality, including immersive client lab sessions to help achieve business breakthroughs through experiential problem solving, conducting project team activities and for exploring innovation theory using group dynamics.
“As I walk through the main entrance each morning, the energy that emanates from this landmark building is invigorating,” said Steve Gallucci, New York managing partner, Deloitte LLP. “The words above the door state, ‘…wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times.’ Wisdom and knowledge is what our 5,000 Deloitte professionals in New York share with clients each and every day in advising them on their toughest business challenges.”
“The City of New York congratulates Deloitte on the completion of its move to the landmark 30 Rockefeller Plaza,” said Gabrielle Fialkoff, senior advisor to Mayor Bill de Blasio and director of the Mayor’s Office of Strategic Partnerships. “Deloitte is an important collaborator with the City in so many ways, as a major employer and as a supporter of our efforts to provide career opportunities to NYC youth – our City is proud to serve as the U.S. Headquarters of such a strong partner for the next generation of New Yorkers.”
“The skyscraper at 30 Rock represents history, culture, innovation and global commerce. This historic hub positions Deloitte for continued growth and success for years to come,” said Gallucci. “Our home at 30 Rock symbolizes Deloitte’s high standards and our continuous commitment to delivering exceptional quality and tangible impact for our clients, our people and our community.”
