NEW YORK -- A private equity investment sponsored by Jon Vaccaro's Rainieri Real Estate Partners LLC raised $158.10 million.
RREP Recovery Partners LP, which is uncapped, has attracted a pool of six investment interests.
Vaccaro is the CEO and Founding Partner of Ranieri Real Estate Partners (RREP). He was Deutsche Bank's Global Head of Commercial Real Estate from 1997 to 2010, where he established and developed DBCRE, whose balance sheet of ultimate grew to more than $40 billion in assets. From 1978 to 1997 Vaccaro held various senior level positions at Citigroup.
Named in the related SEC filing along with Vaccaro are co-founder Lewis Ranieri, and company executives Imran Ahmed, Frank J. Jaeger, Gregory S. Oberholtzer, Donald W. Phillips, Eric Schwartz, Scott A. Shay, Yale S. Stark, and Christopher J. Steele.
