NEWYORK -- DoubleVerify, Inc. an online advertising verification company, has raised $3 million.

Citybizlist reported on March 8, 2010 that the company closed a $10 million series B financing round led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP). In May of 2009 we also informed readers that DoubleVerify closed a $3.5 million Series A financing iled by New York-based Blumberg Capital, with participation from Philadelphia-based First Round Capital and Genacast Ventures, and private investors.

Named in the current SEC filing were Co-Founder and CEO Oren Netzer, CFO Yoav Millet; and directors Chris Fralic, First Round Capital; David J. Blumberg, Blumberg Capital; David Bell, former vice chairman and CEO of New York-based The Interpublic Group; and Gil Beyda, Genacast Ventures.

Netzer founded DoubleVerify in 2008. Previously, he was General Manager and Chief Operating Officer for CheckM8, an online ad serving and rich media technology provider. He graduated from the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel with a degree in computer science and studied electrical engineering at The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

DoubleVerify's technology is designed to enable marketers to verify their campaigns for brand safety, delivery accuracy and regulatory compliance. The The company's list of customers includes over 50 Fortune 500 marketers. In December, the company released BrandShield, an ad prevention and blocking solution.

Chris Fralic, Director
Chris Fralic joined First Round Capital in 2006, and was most recently VP of business development at del.icio.us, which was acquired by Yahoo! in December 2005. At del.icio.us, he focused on distribution partnerships to integrate the company across a broad set of browsers, tools, and publishing partners. A six-year veteran of eBay, Chris leveraged his ad sales and business development strengths to help his company's users connect strongly with entertainment companies such as Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Music Group, Apple and Netflix. Chris also led eBay's entertainment categories, managing transaction, platform and supply/demand for the company's books, movies and music marketplaces in the United States,-overseeing more than $1 billion in transaction volume. Chris was VP of business development at Half.com, which eBay acquired in June 2000; there he helped develop the company's fundraising, content licensing, affiliate program, supply and distribution partnerships, and advertising and sponsorships sales.

David J. Blumberg, Director
David Blumberg, managing partner of Blumberg Capital, has been investing in early stage technology companies for nearly 25 years, focusing principally on digital media, social media, mobility, SaaS/technology-enabled services, and Internet. Before he founded Blumberg Capital in 1991, David managed technology investments with Claridge Investments, Adler & Co., Apax, and T. Rowe Price Associates. David launched Check Point Software Technologies' business development efforts. David earned his AB in government, cum laude, from Harvard College, and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and INSEAD.

David Bell, Director
David Bell has more than 40 years of experience in the marketing communications sector. He is chairman emeritus, and former vice chairman and CEO of The Interpublic Group, one of the world's largest marketing communications and services companies. David was chairman and CEO of True North Communications Inc., the world's sixth-largest global advertising and marketing communications holding company; president and CEO of Bozell Worldwide, where he helped grow the agency from $12 million to more than $500 million in revenues; and president of Knox Reeves Advertising. David is the immediate past chairman of The Advertising Council, and chairs the National Forest Foundation, a position he's held since 2003. Inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame in March 2007, David is the author ofAchieving Success as an Advertising Team (Aspatore Books).

Gil Beyda, Director

Gil Beyda is managing partner of Genacast Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund formed in partnership with Comcast Interactive Capital. Genacast invests up to $500,000 in new media, digital marketing, consumer Internet and Web x.0 companies. Prior to Genacast, Gil was CTO of TACODA, the first and largest behavioral-targeted online ad network. TACODA was acquired by AOL in 2007. Gil helped pioneer Internet advertising in 1995 as founder and CTO of Real Media, one of the first online ad networks and ad server companies.
