Three new executives have joined the New York office of WellNet Healthcare Group, a cutting-edge healthcare company that offers employers a money-saving alternative way to deliver health benefits. Scott Bevier has signed on as the Chief Operating Officer of WellNet Healthcare Group, while Jason Kovar and David Feinberg will serve as Co-Presidents of WellNet Health Plans.
Prior to joining WellNet, Jason Kovar spent 12 years as an equity trader and portfolio manager on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers, Trade.com and Fortress Investment Group. Kovar earned his undergraduate degree at Syracuse University and a MBA at Columbia University.
As Co-President of WellNet Health Plans, Kovar is helping lead the launch of WellNet's innovative benefit offering for small and medium-sized businesses. "With WellNet Health Plans now active in five states, we're poised for tremendous growth," said Kovar. "I'm very excited about the prospect of rolling out our unique product across the rest of the country."
