NEW YORK -- Advertising and marketing firm Live Gamer, Inc. completed a mixed securities offering of $8.51 million.
Named in the related SEC filing were company executives Co-Founder and CEO Mitch Davis, Co-Founder and President Andrew Schneider, and Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Product Bill Grosso.
Davis was founder and CEO of Massive Incorporated, an in-game advertising network acquired by Microsoft in 2006. Davis also co-founded Digital Rights, acquired by Liberty One, and Parcelhouse, an international middleware software developer. He sits on the NY Regional Board of Directors of the March of Dimes.
Prior to founding Live Gamer, Schneider served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at the Wind-up Records record label. Previously, at Sony Pictures Digital, he developed and launched interactive marketing campaigns for entertainment franchises. Schneider began his career at NBC Television Network, where he launched the company's interactive marketing program.
The filing also listed Live Gamer directors Richard Heitzmann, New York-based FirstMark Capital; Chip Meakem, Waltham, Mass.-based Kodiak Venture Partners; Austin Winterling, Boston-based Charles River Ventures; Nate Redmond, Santa Monica, Calif.-based Rustic Canyon; and Mohamed Omaizat.
Headquartered in New York with offices in Palo Alto, Calif. and Seoul, Korea, Live Gamer is a combined e-commerce and advertising platform, designed to help online entertainment companies derive revenue from their content. Live Gamer's clients include Facebook, Electronic Arts, Take 2, Sony Online, Namco Networks, REAL Networks and THQ. Advertisers on the Live Gamer Media network include Blizzard, KFC, Best Buy and Sony Computer Entertainment.
Live Gamer had previously raised $27.8 million from Kodiak, Charles River, and FirstMark.
